Frequently Asked Questions
What about Dom/sub? Is L(ysandre) topping from the bottom allowed?
As this is my event and I'm in charge, I'm going to decree that the works should be focused mostly on sub bottom L(ysandre). However, I will not run after you holding pitchforks if you decide to go with Dom bottom L(ysandre) instead. As long as there's even just a little more bottom L(ysandre) in the world, I'll be satisfied...
When you say all ships are allowed, do you actually mean all ships?
Yes. I actually mean all ships.
What about self-shipping and/or OC/Canon?
Not particularly my thing, but as long as it involves L(ysandre) bottoming, go wild.
For the prompt meme specifically, please do not request specific OCs. Otherwise, you're free to request Reader/Lysandre or OC/Lysandre (while giving carte blanche to your creator to make up the OC themselves.)
How are we defining "rarepair" for the one prompt?
Well, as far as I'm aware, L(ysandre) has One Big Ship, and then compared to that everything else is probably a rarepair. But if you want to go extra rare, go ahead!
Does L(ysandre) sucking cock count as bottoming?
For the purpose of this event, yes. Straps also count!
Does L(ysandre) getting stabbed or having foreign objects otherwise inserted in his body non-sexually count as bottoming?
Tempting, but I'm going to go with no. Feel free to make new holes in him to fuck though.
What if I'm shipping L with Lysandre? What then?
In my heart of hearts I believe they should be bottom4bottom... However, for this ship and this ship
only, one of them is allowed to top. And it's L.
Can my work(s) be implicit(ly sexual) rather than explicit?
As long as your work(s) feature(s) L or Lysandre bottoming (or the implication that L or Lysandre is bottoming) it/they can absolutely be implicit. For example, for art, it can be subtle or suggestive, and for fic, it can be described less crudely/explicitly.
What if I want to write a SFW fic where the topic of L(ysandre) bottoming comes up but no bottoming occurs on-page?
As long as the topic isn't brought up to be shot down, I'll allow it. I'd rather see it to believe it though. If you catch my drift.
Can my work(s) be private or password-protected on social media? Can my work(s) be posted for registered users only on AO3?
You are free to exercise as much control as you wish on who can see/interact with your work for the event and/or how.
Can my work(s) be part of another event or otherwise made in part for something or someone other than the event (a response to an unrelated prompt, a gift for a friend, hitting a square on a fandom bingo, etc)?
For general works posted for the main event, as long as the other event(s) and/or the friend or otherwise involved individual(s) are fine with it, yes! No problem at all.
For works posted as fills for the prompt meme, I would prefer if you didn't.
Okay, but really? All ships?
Yes. Really. I will not be monitoring what people make for the event. I will not make guidelines outlining which ships are too problematic for the event. If someone makes something for a ship I'd rather pretend doesn't exist, I will simply proceed to do so. If participating in an event in which people might create things you disapprove of upsets you, you are free to give this one a pass.
How do I post my work in the collection on AO3?
Posting works in general:
You have two options when it comes to including your work in the main (2026) collection tied to the event. You can:
- Go to the collection page and click/tap the "Post to Collection" button, as seen in the
screenshot
below. It will open the "New Work" page on AO3 as normal, with the collection pre-entered for your
convenience.

- Create a new work as normal (or edit an existing one) and on the "New Work" (or "Edit
Work") page,
scroll down to "Associations", the tab after the one where you put your summary and Author's Note,
where you can pick your work's language etc. There, you'll find this:

In the box, type bottomlysandre2026. Unfortunately, the dropdown there is often bugged and does not show every collection there is, but if you enter it exactly as written, it will work even if it looks like it won't. Like this (you can add a comma or hit enter for it to be confirmed, or you can also just leave it as is; it will work even if you don't actually do anything and just write it in the box):
This is what it will look like if you hit enter or add a comma.
This is what it will look like if you leave it as is. Both will work! Once you've done this, you can simply scroll down and click/tap "Post" (or "Update" if you're editing.)
Posting art on AO3:
To post art on AO3, you will need to host the picture elsewhere first. There are various options for this, but the one I recommend the most is Squidge Images, because it allows NSFW and is open to most fictional content. However, it does require you make an account. Tumblr can work for SFW images, although they are known to occasionally break. Otherwise, the two image hosts I know of that should be visible from anywhere in the world are Postimages and ImgBB.
Once your image is hosted, you can use basic HTML to have it show up on AO3. This is the code I personally use for my own art when I crosspost on AO3, but feel free to follow your truth:
Unfortunately, I do not know much about posting other types of works on AO3, such as podfic, but you can probably find information online pretty easily.
Responding to a prompt from the prompt meme:
Go to the collection page for the prompt meme and click/tap the "Prompts" tab. There, you will see
all the prompts submitted so far! A prompt on a prompt meme will look like this:
Simply
click/tap on "Claim" to claim the prompt, and it will be added to your "My Claims" page, and
will become available for you to select when posting a new work on AO3. From there, you (once again) have
two ways to fulfill your claim and post your fill.
- Go to your "My Claims" page, to find your claim(s):

From there, you can click/tap "Fulfill" to open the "New Work" page with the prompt pre-entered. It will be ticked under "Fulfill a Claim" and the body of the prompt will be added to your beginning Author's Note, like this:
You can keep or delete it. Proceed as you would when posting a work. Additionally, if you'd like to gift your work to the prompter (for prompts that are not anonymous, assuming the prompter has opted into it) you can add their username to the "Gift this work to" field, using the same method as described above when adding a work to a collection (except this time, AO3 will suggest people as soon as you begin typing their username; make sure to pick the right one or copypaste the appropriate username directly):
- Create a new work as normal (or edit an existing one) and on the "New Work" (or "Edit
Work") page, scroll down to "Associations", the tab after the one where you put your summary
and Author's Note, where you can pick your work's language etc. There, you'll find this under "Fulfill
a Claim":

Simply tick the box next to the prompt you want to fulfill and voilà! This will not add the prompt to your Author's Note (as far as I can tell) so if you want the prompt in there, you will have to add it manually. Additionally, if you'd like to gift your work to the prompter, you can follow the same process as described directly above.
Whether or not you gift your fill to its prompter, they will receive an e-mail letting them know the prompt has been fulfilled.

Bottom L(ysandre) Week-End 2026!
Last updated 24th May 2026 | added to the FAQ, edited some formatting.
This is a three-day NSFW event dedicated to Lysandre (and L) bottoming, taking place between August 8th and August 10th. Each day features a prompt regarding the type of relationship, but this does not need to be followed. The point of the event is to have fun and create works in which Lysandre is bottoming.
This event is hosted & organized by Samifer.
Prompts
- Day 1 (August 8th): Rarepairs
- Day 2 (August 9th): Multiple Partners
- Day 3 (August 10th): Free
Rules &/or Guidelines
- Please tag your work(s) #bottomLysandre2026 on social media so they can be found and seen. As the event does not have a dedicated account, there won't be a place where fills will be shared, but this will allow others to find what you made! At the end of the event, this website will be updated with a masterlist of all the works created for the event. If posting your work(s) on AO3, feel free to use the dedicated Bottom L(ysandre) Week-End 2026 collection, also linked in the sidebar.
- Works must involve L(ysandre) bottoming. For the purpose of this event, "bottoming" is defined as L(ysandre) being the receiving party of a penetrative sexual act. The focus of the work must be on L(ysandre) bottoming. There can be mentions of him topping in the past or future, but he needs to only be shown bottoming in the work itself.
- All types of works are allowed in any language. This includes art, fic, fanmixes, meta, edits of canon art, musical compositions, etc. As the goal of the event is to create more things, it’s preferred that your work(s) be new and/or created specifically for the event. Please only use material that you have created yourself or that you have explicit permission to use. Work(s) can be created in advance or late. You do not need to follow the prompts for each day; they are merely suggestions.
- All ships are allowed. The sex does not need to be consensual. Please ensure that your works are properly tagged/warned for if they involve themes that could be controversial or that would require Archive Warnings on AO3.
- See the FAQ for more information and/or if you have any questions.
Prompt Collection
In addition to the main event and its associated AO3 collection, the Bottom Lysandre Endless Prompt Meme will open one week before the event starts, on August 1st, and will remain open indefinitely. The same rules as established for the event apply.
Guidelines for the prompt meme are listed on the prompt form, but here they are for the sake of completeness.
Format your prompts as follow:
Character(s)/Lysandre or L
A brief description of what you'd like. This can include kinks, situations, etc.
Be as vague or specific as you want, but keep in mind that, as this is a prompt meme and not an exchange or gift event, your creator does not have to follow your desired plot beat by beat. Additionally, this event does not accommodate for "Do Not Wants". However, you are free to suggest things you would rather your gift not contain.
Example:
Corbeau/L
I'd love a story or artwork where Corbeau is cis and L is trans, and Corbeau fucks L until he gets pregnant without letting L take breaks other than for sleeping and eating. If you'd like to include some pet play aspects I would be delighted. If writing from L's perspective, I'd prefer that he uses "L" to refer to himself in narration rather than "Lysandre".
You can also request Any/L(ysandre), or Any Male/L(ysandre), etc.
When prompting unanonymously, you can offer for your creator to gift their creation to your AO3 account. Otherwise, you will receive an automatic e-mail whenever your prompt is filled.
